Gridiron Scholorships

The Skyline Gridiron Club has been a part of the Skyline High School Scholarship Breakfast held each year to recognize the outstanding personal achievements of Spartan students who are the winners of scholarships from dozens of community, regional, state-wide and national organizations. The accomplishments of our football program over the years have been identified in many different venues and media sources. And yet, beyond all of the publicity, there are also individual players who believe that their own personal rewards and team success have been attained because of their involvement in Spartan football. We celebrate these players as they leave the halls of Skyline to pursue secondary education opportunities and begin their life’s journey.
Since 2004, we have awarded over $12,000 in scholarships to Skyline graduates:
2011 Silver Scholarship – Sam Dean and Chris Torres
Rudy Award – Kai Jandoc
2010 Silver Scholarship – Michael Stead and Anthony DeMatteo
Rudy Spirit Award – Joey Horton
2009 Silver Scholarship – Ryan Somers and William Chandler
Rudy Spirit Award – Jordan Weil
2008 Silver Scholarship – AJ Francis, Cameron Lusuegro and Brandon Barron
