Green, a senior running back and defensive back, stood out on both sides of the ball as the Spartans beat second-ranked Woodinville 26-21 to advance to the Class 4A state championship game. He caught two touchdown passes (2 and 60 yards) and also scored on a 1-yard run. Greene also recovered a fumble, broke up a pass and had a touchdown-saving tackle.
