Mount Si quarterback Clay Millen threw for five touchdowns as the Wildcats (5-2) cruised to a 55-7 victory over the Skyline Spartans (3-4) on Oct. 18.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, courtesy of a 1-yard touchdown run from running back Cole Norah and a 9-yard touchdown pass from Millen to wide receiver Brayden Holt. The Spartans scored their lone touchdown of the night, a 75-yard touchdown catch by wide receiver Aidyn Clark, to cut the Wildcats’ lead to 14-7. Millen and the Wildcats answered back with a 20-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Andrew Mostofi to give them a 21-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The Wildcats’ offense continued to roll in the second quarter with Millen throwing three more touchdown passes to extend their lead to 41-7. Before halftime, Mount Si wide receiver Colby Botten returned a Skyline punt 42 yards for another Wildcats touchdown.
Norah scored the only touchdown of the second half for the Wildcats with an 11-yard touchdown run to wrap up the scoring in their 55-7 victory.
The Wildcats finish their regular season with a road game against the Newport Knights (0-7) on Oct. 25.
